Keep an eye on the road with the RoadEyes recSMART dashcam and share your best moments with your social network using their free mobile app! Equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, built-in GPS and a wide angle camera, recSMART seamlessly connects to your smartphone and continuously records your driving journeys in full HD. It takes both photos and videos and saves them in the micro-SD card (SOLD SEPARATELY).
2K Removable Camera
recSMART features 1440P video and a wide-angle lens with a 140° angle-of view. This gives the recSMART an unprecedented field-of-vision. The sensors are highly sensitive and adapts to visibility conditions on the road. They detect low and high light conditions, as well as sudden changes (for example when exiting a tunnel). This way the recSMART ensures clear high-definition footage of your journey 24/7. recSMART’s built-in battery allows its users to take pictures and record videos even when it is disconnected from the magnetic mount. In addition to the automatic recording when the vehicle is in motion, recSMART can easily be detached to take selfies or recordings for up to 5 minutes.
Automatic and Continuous recording
Once installed, recSMART is fully automated and starts recording in full HD as soon as the engine is turned on. To help users avoid many hours of manually removing their content, recSMART automatically records over the oldest files when its memory card fills up.
GPS Location
With recSMART’s integrated GPS, the users vehicle can be geo-located and can associate it with Google Maps. This technology also allows you to analyse a variety of data relating to the vehicle: GPS position, direction, average speed, distance travelled, journey time, etc.
Gyroscopic Sensor
The ‘G shock sensor’ records all your vehicle’s movements: sudden acceleration, excessive braking and heavy movements while swerving. These elements will provide details of any accident and can be used to analyse an event that has occurred on the road.
Rear view
For complete video coverage while on the road, mount the recONE (sold separately) on the rear windshield.
